U.S. auto sales in January probable stayed at quarter-century lows for the fourth straight month, as stable demand at dealerships couldn't make up for falling deliveries to fleets.Few surveys projected that January seasonally adjusted yearly sales rate of 10 million to 10.6 million cars and light trucks. General Motors forecasts a figure below 10 million, which would be the lowest as August 1982.
